Aaron Lee Jones was born August 26, 1985, in Mamou, La. to Aaron Monday and Priscilla Jones. He attended Eunice Public Schools and was baptized at an early age at First Union Baptist Church in Eunice, La. by the late Pastor Willis Jones Sr. He later joined fellowship with Star Jerusalem under the leadership of Pastor Lonnie Guillory.

On Wednesday, December 20, 2023, the angel of death came and escorted Aaron to his eternal home.

Aaron will always be remembered for his love of kids and the elderly. He wanted to make a difference in their lives.

He leaves to mourn his wife, Eftina Rideaux Monday, his parents Aaron and Priscilla Monday, two sons:  Trevon Jones and Aaron Jones Jr., one daughter: Aaryona Jones, two brothers:  Damien Monday and Christopher Monday, one sister:  Laura Monday, three grandchildren:  Jayen and Jordan Phience and A'mour Shallow, his god parents:  Ernest Jones and Angela Monday, and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rev. Willis Jones and Ceanna Jones and his paternal grandparents, Allen Monday Sr. & Gracie Hurks Monday.
