Freddie “Trey” Alfred III

Freddie “Trey” Alfred III was a loving, kindhearted soul with a heart of gold. Known for his infectious laughter, love of fishing and dancing, and for being the comedian of the family, Trey brought joy to everyone blessed to know him. His presence could light up any room, and his love for his family was immeasurable.

Trey was a devoted father to his beautiful daughter, Aubree Powers of Brusly, Louisiana, and a loving father figure to two beautiful girls, Kaisley and Kynlee Wheeler of Eunice, Louisiana. He shared a special bond with his beloved fiancée, Kylie Alfred of Eunice, Louisiana.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his parents, Gary (Pamela) Mitchell Sr. of Eunice, Louisiana, and Tabatha Strauss of Lake Charles, Louisiana; his beloved siblings, Megan Alfred of Lake Charles, Louisiana; Laycie Alfred of Cecilia, Louisiana; Shaniqua Freeman of Huntsville, Texas; Myria Mitchell of Eunice, Louisiana; Gary Mitchell III of Eunice, Louisiana; Jamie Fontenot of Eunice, Louisiana; Jarieka Guillory of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and Nakia Hebert.

He also leaves behind his beloved godchild, Tre’Quez Mitchell of Eunice, Louisiana; his loving godmothers, Mona Allison and Yolonda Skinner, both of Eunice, Louisiana; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.

Trey was more than a son, father, brother, fiancé, uncle, godfather, cousin, and friend. He was the laughter at family gatherings, the life of the party, and a source of love and unforgettable memories. Whether fishing, dancing, or making everyone around him laugh, Trey lived life with a spirit that will never be forgotten.

Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the joy he brought will forever remain in our hearts.
