Joseph Lee "Iceman" Scott, Sr. was born in Lafayette, La on January 13, 1960 to Clayton & Addie Scott, Sr. He departed this life at 1:30 am on October 26, 2023 at his residence.  He enjoyed attending church & also working for the church.  Joseph enjoyed fishing & his carpentry & plumbing skills were often called on by many.

He leaves to cherish fond memories; 2 sons: Joseph Lee Scott Jr. & Chad Scott both of Thibodeaux, La 3 sisters: Beckie Lee Fuzee (Jimmy) & Felicia Rougeau (Kenneth) both of Lake Charles, La & Gwendolyn Thompson (Donovan) of San Antonio, Tx; 6 brothers: Clayton Scott Jr, Randolph Scott, Daniel Scott (Debriel), Dennis Scott, & Calvin Scott all of Eunice, La & Eric Scott, Sr. (Wendy) of Cave City, Ky.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents: Clayton & Addie Scott, Sr., his grandparents, 1 brother: Kenneth "Peanut" Scott, & 1 sister: Brenda Scott.
