Joseph "Dodie" Wayne Dupre was born January 9, 1964 in Eunice, La to Lillie Mae Toussaint Dupre and Albert Dupre Sr.  He was a lifelong resident of Eunice, La. Dodie attended Eunice public schools. He enjoyed attending church, cooking, fishing, and his occupation, which was carpentry work.

He was called to his Heavenly Home on August 12, 2025 @ 9:43pm @  Ochsner Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette, La.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Dupre Sr. & Lillie Mae Toussaint Dupre, one sister: Lena Dupre Rougeau, three brothers: George Dupre, Marvin Dupre & Albert Dupre Jr.

Leaving to Cherish his memories are his wife Anshie Angelina Dupre of Eunice, La, three sons: Dewayne Poullard of Beaumont, Tx, Troy U. Hubbard & Keanu Hubbard both of Eunice, La and one daughter: Angelica Hubbard of Eunice, La, 13 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews & other relatives & friends
