Kevin Wade Randell was born in Lafayette, La on August 13, 1969 & grew up in Eunice, La. After graduating from Eunice High School, he proudly served in the United States Navy. Following his honorable discharge, Kevin worked in the petroleum field industry which included overseas assignments. In recent years he worked as a professional truck driver an occupation he truly enjoyed.
Kevin was a warm, charitable, loving, and playful soul. His immense presence lit up every room in more ways than one and you knew and felt his energy. Kevin had a unique gift for connecting with people, he always spoke from the heart & shared how he truly felt leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. Every morning, Kevin had a sweet tradition of calling the people he loved as soon as he woke up, it was his way of letting them know they mattered to him. He had a profound & meaningful bond with his mother. They were each others strength, Kevin made sure she was cared for and supported in every way. Their relationship was a beautiful relationship of love & loyalty.
Kevin deeply loved his children, sharing many moments with them that brought him pride & happiness. What was so unique and exceptional about Kevin's relationship with his wife Kayla, was their unshakable connection. As he would say," they had an everything kind of love"
Cherished Family: Kevin's memory is treasured by his wife, Kayla Randell of Sunset, La, his son Kevin C. Randell & his daughter Kadyn S. Randell both of Eunice, his mother Debra Lamb of Opelousas, La, his father Wilbert "Noonie" Frank (Jackie) of Lake charles, 2 sisters: Tillie Lamb (Kevin) of Georgia & Ashanti Frank of California; 2 brothers Kelly Lamb (Rosalyn) of Opelousas, La & Kendall Frank of California; his godmother Diana R. Frank of Eunice, & many other relatives & friends.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather Hebert Lamb, his grandmother Mildred "MoMo" Randell & Merceded "Dee Dee" (Frank) guillory his maternal grandfather Hillery Randell Sr; his paternal grandfather Y.L. Frank, & his godfather Carlton N. Frank Jr. "Boss".
