It is with great sadness that the family of Mark Green Jr. "Sandy" announces his passing on Wednesday, April 26th, 2023 at 5:12 p.m. in Opelousas. He was 78.

Mark enjoyed attending church, ministering to others, reading, watching sports, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his daughter Tracy K. Green of Houston, Texas, special friend Bertha Wilson of Opelousas La., a brother Delbert Green Sr.(Isabella) of Eunice, a sister Elvira Green Domingue(Willie) of Eunice, & Sister-n-law Rose Green of Eunice,La six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Lillie Mae Green, his parents Mark Green Sr. and Annie Mae Green, one sister Charlotte Green and one brother Horace Green.

Frank Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

A celebration of Life will be celebrated on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Golden Star Baptist Church in Eunice

Interment will be at Eunice North Cemetery with the Rev. Matthew Alfred of Golden Star Baptist Church will be officiating.

Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 6th, 2023 at Golden Star Baptist Church.
