Marvin Lewis was born on September 11,1985 in Mamou, Louisiana to Anna Ruth Lewis and James Toussaint. He attended Eunice public schools and graduated from Eunice High. He was baptized at an early age at Second Baptist Church.

On Tuesday May 28, 2024, the Angel of Death came and escorted Marvin to his eternal home. Marvin will always be remembered for his humble, kind, and helpful spirit. He always had a smile and had a passion for caring and helping others.

Cherishing fond memories of Marvin "Nuke", are his parents Anna Lewis and James Toussaint. He also leaves behind his sisters: Raven Lewis, Tamica Johnwell Burton, Lillie Toussaint, Latoya Poullard, April Savoy, and Kaliyah Horton; Three brothers: Charles Burton, Chris Savoy, and James Savoy, and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, relatives and friends.

In the embrace of eternity, Nuke joins his maternal grandparents; Inez Lewis & Willie Lewis; his paternal grandmother; Edna Toussaint  and two brothers, Dwayne Lewis & Donald Ranton.
