Nolia Marie Gallow, a beloved resident of Eunice, LA, passed away on March 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family in Lafayette, LA, at the age of 92. She was born to her parents, Frank and Gussie Issac, on July 3, 1931, in Eunice, LA.
Nolia's life was rich with love and dedication to her family and community. She was a devoted member of the Usher board at her church. She found joy in simple pleasures like reading her Bible on her front porch, tending her garden, and creating delicious meals for her cherished family and friends. Her passion for serving others extended to her work at the St. Landry Parish School Board, where she delighted in nourishing the students with love and care.
In 1949, Nolia married Rogers Gallow, Sr., the love of her life, in Chataigner, LA. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared countless memories filled with love and laughter. Nolia's legacy lives on through her children Gertie Vigers (John), Elliot Steven Gallow (Doris Jean), and Allen Frank Gallow, all of Eunice, LA, Special friend, and daughter Terasa Guillory, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Sola Latour of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Rogers Issac (Sylvonia) of Prairieland, TX. In her final chapter, Nolia was reunited with her beloved husband, Rogers Gallow, Sr., her son, Rogers Gallow, Jr., and her sister, Ella Guillory. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering strength that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Nolia Marie Gallow's life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and family. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those touched by her warmth and generosity. May her memory be a blessing, and may she rest in eternal peace.
