Mr. Paul Washington was born on January 26, 1949 to the union of George Washington and Mary Johnwell.  He accepted Christ at an early age.  Paul met and Married the love of his life Ms. Verlie Johnwell on December 24, 1968.  To this union, two daughters were born.  Paul, known to many as"Kitt" was a hard working man who could fix anything.  His hobbies included gardening and watching his two favorite teams; The Washington Redskins, now known as the Commanders & the Boston Celtics.  He enjoyed talking trash whether his team won or lost.  He was always telling jokes & making people laugh.  Mr. Paul worked all his life, he was a trucker, custodian, & even did construction work, anything that would break, call Paul, he knew how to fix it.

Mr. Paul leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters: Lisa Washington of Houston,Tx & Linda Carrier (Clinton) of Carencro, La, three grandchildren: Lashira, who he called "Lucy", Clinton Jr. & Javontreus Carrier; three great-grandchildren I'janea, Omere & Kalani; 0ne brother Emanus Washington; two godchildren: Keith Edwards & Sandra Platt, & a host of neices, nephews, relatives & friends.

He was preceeded in death by his wife Verlie, his parents: George & Mary Washington; three brothers: Ozema, Rodney & Amos; two sisters: Anna Lou & Mary; & one son in law Jesee Cooper.
