IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sandra Faye
Shillow
August 23, 1950 – September 16, 2023
Sandra Faye Shillow was born on August 23, 1950 in Mamou, La, to the late Howard Noel and Willie Mae Goodly. Sis Sandra was baptized at an early age at Zion Traveler Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Dr. Harry Julius Guilliam. Later in life, she reestablished her membership and joined the usher board under the leadership of Rev Terry K. Anderson. She was also a member of the Women's Mission Department. She took her position as an usher very serious as she continued serving under the leadership of Pastor Allen Ben until her Death. She served for over thirty plus years.
Sis Sandra worked as a cook for many years, but her passion was her daycare. Although she didn't have children of her own, she assisted in raising many in her home daycare. She enjoyed watching her favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys with family and friends. when you would see her sister Fabiola, you would see her. Sis Sandra was a counsellor to many and a prayer warrior for others. if she couldn't help you, she would not hurt you. She also enjoyed collecting angels, working crossword puzzles, and her coffee. If she would visit you and you didn't have coffee, the visit was cut short. Most of all, she enjoyed her time with God reading her Bible. Sandra's family describes her as a true angel walking on earth.
